I hate using that dinky editor that WordPress offers. On one hand, it can’t format my blog entries the way I want it in the visual editor, and then if I decide to just go into the HTML and set it up the way I want, when I switch back to the visual mode, it goes ahead and just messes everything up!
And then, I discovered this Textmate Blogging bundle, which has been hiding from me all these months. I pretty much use Textmate for everything from my Rails development, to taking quick To-Do items during my meetings.
Even cooler is the fact that Textmate let’s me use Markdown to format my blog entries. Way cleaner than embedding ugly HTML.
We’ll see if this new simpler way of blogging actually increases the number of blog entries I post on a monthly basis…
